  2. [...] A little while back I wrote about Olympic Zero VOC paint that is available at Lowes. One of the negative points I found was that the tints are not Zero VOC. Well, soon that is going to change. I was recently doing a painting project with one of my good friends and we went to Lowe’s to pick up a couple gallons of paint for her new apartment. I mentioned the fact that the tints were not eco-friendly, and the clerk overheard me and told me that within the next month or two, they will have Zero-VOC tints available. Woo-hoo!     It is misleading to say it is Zero VOC in any color advertised. But then when the color is added it really adds back VOC. very tricky…I wish it could be zero VOC with the color as well! No one wants to breathe harmful pollutants in their house.
